Rose Godfrey is a mom to 9 great kids, one of whom can be seen climbing on her, hovering around the computer, or drawing a picture to hang on the wall at any given time. She has no recollection of what it means to spend time alone or to sleep through the night.
Rose enjoys sharing teaching duties with her husband Brian and uses her background as a speech pathologist to set goals for the children’s learning. Her column, Learning at Home, appears every other week on the Education page of the Appeal-Democrat.
When she isn’t torturing her children by making them learn something new or torturing her husband with a “honey-do” list, Rose can frequently be found at The Speech Works, often with a kid or two in tow.
